Besides being an enchanting getaway for couples, The Westin Casuarina is also one of the islands best retreats for families with young children. The Westin Kids’ Club features an exciting variety of games, activities, crafts and excursions designed to entertain children four to 12 years old. Trained staff cares for children from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Activities include “Seaworld Explorer,” painting, games, sand castle competitions, treasure hunts, snorkel lessons, night camps, arts and crafts and beach fun.
Ideal for corporate and social occasions, the resort has more than 18,000 square-feet of indoor/outdoor event space and is one of the island’s most beautiful and popular places for weddings, meetings and corporate retreats. The new Governors Ballroom accommodates 650 for theater-style seating or 450 banquet-style. This indoor space, combined with a tent on the lawn outside the ballroom, expands the capability to accommodate 750 for banquets and receptions.
