The Summit of the Americas underway today through Sunday in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, will focus the attention of 34 heads of state and government on the global and national economies, on social development and on a sustainable environment. These topics will be discussed in three plenary sessions, with time for meetings between individual leaders. Many heads-of-state, will have their first chance to meet each other privately.
